Runxin valve codes — new numbering explained and converted
Decode Runxin's new five-digit valve codes position by position, convert old F-series codes (F67C1) to new numbers and back, and build a code from application, control type and flow rate.
1. The ranges DWT keeps on the shelf
These are the Runxin ranges DWT and most South African distributors stock — the industry-standard set for their flow classes. Spec one of these unless the duty genuinely demands otherwise: everything else in the catalogue is imported on order with a longer lead time.
F67 — 1" automatic filter valve
DWT stocked- Connections
- 1" F
- Rated flow
- 4 m3/h (6 m3/h -A riser)
- Duty
- Filter — F63 is the softener twin
- Common codes
- 53504 (F67C1, time) / 53604 (F67C3, meter)
Inlet LEFT — flow left to right
Facing the display, the inlet is on the LEFT — flow runs left to right. (Manual drawings; the meter probe wire runs to the right-hand outlet port.)
F63 — 1" automatic softener valve (downflow)
DWT stocked- Connections
- 1" M
- Rated flow
- 4 m3/h
- Duty
- Softener — F67 is the filter twin
- Common codes
- 63504 (F63C1, time) / 63604 (F63C3, meter)
Inlet LEFT — flow left to right
Facing the display, the inlet is on the LEFT — flow runs left to right. Same body platform as the F67 filter. NOTE: the newer F116 that Runxin positions as the F63 upgrade is piped the OPPOSITE way.
F75 / N75 — 2" automatic filter valve
DWT stocked- Connections
- 2" M
- Rated flow
- 10 m3/h
- Duty
- Filter — F74 / N74 is the softener twin
- Common codes
- 53510 (N75A1, time) / 53610 (N75A3, meter)
Inlet RIGHT — flow right to left
Facing the display, the inlet is on the RIGHT — flow runs right to left. This is where the direction flips from the smaller 1" valves.
F74 / N74 — 2" automatic softener valve
DWT stocked- Connections
- 2" M
- Rated flow
- 10 m3/h
- Duty
- Softener — F75 / N75 is the filter twin
- Common codes
- 63510 (F74A1, time) / 63610 (F74A3, meter)
Inlet RIGHT — flow right to left
Facing the display, the inlet is on the RIGHT — flow runs right to left. (Manual structure chart read against Runxin's own rear product photo; the flow meter sits on the left-hand outlet.)
F77 — 2" automatic valve, side- or top-mounted
DWT stocked- Connections
- 2" M
- Rated flow
- 18 m3/h
- Duty
- Softener (F77A) / filter (F77B)
- Common codes
- 63518 (F77A1) / 63618 (F77A3) / 53518 (F77B1, time only)
Inlet RIGHT — flow right to left
Facing the display, the inlet is on the RIGHT — flow runs right to left. (Dimension drawing, flow-meter figure and the pressure-gauge-on-inlet figure all agree.)
F112 — DN65 side-mounted automatic valve
DWT stocked- Connections
- DN65 flanged
- Rated flow
- 40 m3/h
- Duty
- Softener (F112A) / filter (F112B)
- Common codes
- 63540B (F112A1) / 63640B (F112A3) / 53540B (F112B1)
Inlet LEFT — flow left to right
Facing the display, the inlet is on the LEFT — flow runs left to right (pressure gauge on the left inlet, flow meter on the right outlet in Runxin's own drawings and install photo). Note this is OPPOSITE to the 2" F74/F75/F77 family.
2. How the new code works
New-style Runxin codes pack the specification into five digits: product family, platform, regeneration start, and rated flow. Type any code to decode it position by position.

Flow designation 2 in the code — confirm the model's actual rated service and backwash flows against the manufacturer's data before selecting
63602 corresponds to the old code F65B3.
F65 valves are available on order — longer lead time, and typically not readily stocked by South African distributors. Ask the branch whether a stocked range covers the duty. Facing the display, the inlet is on the LEFT — flow runs left to right. NOTE: the newer F130 replacement is piped the OPPOSITE way.
3. Convert between old and new codes
Enter either format — an old F- or N-series code (F67C1, N75A1) or a new numeric code (53504) — and get its counterpart from the official pairing.
F67C1 is now 53504.
F67 is a range DWT keeps on the shelf. Facing the display, the inlet is on the LEFT — flow runs left to right. (Manual drawings; the meter probe wire runs to the right-hand outlet port.)
4. Build a code from your requirement
Pick what the duty needs; the convention gives the new code, and the table shows the old code where one exists.
63602
In the table: old code F65B3.

5. Which side is the inlet?
Runxin ranges do NOT all pipe the same way round, and plants have been laid out backwards because of it. Directions below are stated facing the controller display and were verified against Runxin’s own manuals and drawings. Before fabrication, always confirm against the moulded IN/OUT arrows on the valve body itself.

6. Full cross-reference table
The complete Runxin range beyond the stocked set is available on order — expect a longer lead time, as these models are typically not readily stocked by South African distributors.
Reference compiled from the official Runxin product catalogue, the code lists and structure drawings in Runxin’s per-series instruction manuals, and run-xin.com product pages. Runxin’s own documents occasionally print two codes for one valve — the notes column flags every case we found. Runxin is a trademark of its owner; DWT stocks and sources Runxin valves. Always confirm the exact model against the Runxin datasheet before ordering — variants (suffix letters, port sizes, riser sizes) matter in service.
