About this website

This website is a trade catalogue and quotation service operated by Definitive Water Technologies (registration 2009/137701/23). It is a specification and procurement reference: it displays no prices, and nothing on it constitutes an offer capable of acceptance. Orders arise only from written quotations issued by DWT and accepted by the customer.

Specifications and technical content

Product specifications are reproduced in good faith from manufacturer documentation and our own records, and may change as manufacturers revise their products. The manufacturer’s current datasheet is authoritative where any difference exists. Calculators, knowledge base articles and selection guidance are general engineering aids providing indicative estimates only — they do not replace a site-specific design based on a full water analysis, and DWT accepts no liability for designs made solely on their output. Confirm final selections with a DWT branch.

Lead times and stock status

Lead-time bands and stock indications are indicative planning information, not guarantees. Actual availability is confirmed on quotation and may change with supplier schedules, shipping and demand. Confirmed delivery commitments exist only in written quotations and order confirmations.

Intellectual property

Site content is the property of Definitive Water Technologies or its licensors. Manufacturer names, logos and trademarks (including DuPont, FilmTec, Runxin, Seko, AFM and others shown) belong to their respective owners and are used to identify genuine products we stock and source; no affiliation beyond stated relationships is implied.

Acceptable use

You may use the site to research products and request quotations in the ordinary course of business. You may not scrape the catalogue for republication, misrepresent DWT content as your own, or attempt to compromise the site’s security.

Liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, DWT is not liable for loss arising from reliance on catalogue content outside a concluded written agreement. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies, are unaffected.

The knowledge base, the calculators and the guides for farmers, installers and food and beverage plants are general information, compiled from published standards, manufacturer data and DWT’s own experience. They are not a design, a specification or advice for a particular site. Whoever specifies, installs or operates a system remains responsible for checking that the information applies to their water and their installation, and for the work itself. To the extent permitted by South African law, DWT accepts no liability for errors in that content or for work done on the strength of it.
