Runxin multiport control valves for fibreglass filter and softener vessels. Manual backwash valves: F56A (2.5"-8NPSM base, 1" ports, 4 m³/h) and F56D (4"-8UN base, 2" ports, 10 m³/h). Automatic softener valves: F63B3, F63C1, F63C3 and F63P3 for 2.5" vessels at 4 m³/h, and the F74A1 for 4" vessels at 10 m³/h. Automatic backwash filter valves: F67C1 and F67P1 at 4 m³/h, F75A1 at 10 m³/h and F77B1 at 18 m³/h, plus the GA71B head at 2 m³/h. Spares include an F67-series weather cover, an F67C1 control board and a three-way motorised valve.

Start from the vessel opening: 2.5"-8NPSM valves suit vessels with a 2.5" opening and 4"-8UN valves suit 4" openings. Then match the duty. Filter valves backwash and rinse only; softener valves add brine draw and refill and need a brine line to the brine tank, so the two are not interchangeable. Check the manufacturer's tank-diameter range and rated flow against the vessel and the peak demand. Meter-type softener valves such as the F63P3 regenerate on water used; time-clock valves such as the F74A1 regenerate on a set day interval. Check the operating pressure range on the valve's datasheet: fit a pressure-reducing valve where supply pressure exceeds it and a booster pump where it falls below.
